Solotica Hidrocor Contact Lenses in OCRE (Hazel) with Coupon Code for You!

Vision Marketplace sent these contact lenses for me to review! I was very pleased that they extended this amazing offer to me because I've been wanting to try the Hidrocor lenses for quite some time now. I've heard nothing but great things about them.

These Solotica Hidrocor contact lenses arrived to me in a 2 factory sealed small containers. It was definitely a job to open the glass containers, so that reassured me that they were tamper-proof.
Also, the contents of the Vision Marketplace box contained: the Solo Care Aqua All-in-One Solution for the lenses. In addition to that, they provided me with 2 contact lens cases, instructions, and a 10% off coupon voucher.

Over the years, I've tried various brands of contact lenses. A few questions that I ask myself when ordering contacts are:
1) Does the color mimic the natural iris of a human eye?
2) Is there a very thick limbal ring on the outer edge?
3) Are they available in a wide array of colors?
4) How soon do they need to be replaced?
5) Prescription or Non-prescription?

Using a special technique, Solotica is able to blend many exciting colors to create subtle & natural-looking lenses. I tried one of the contact lenses on and compared the color of that to the natural color of my other eye. There was a "dramatic" difference! The Hidrocor lens were completely opaque (non-transparent), and appeared to be highly vibrant in color.

There was no limbal ring which provided maximum coverage across the iris! Also, with no limbal ring the color of the lenses looks more natural when looking around in various directions. The color is blatantly more uniform and realistic.

The base curve is: 8.7 and the base curve of a lens (measured in millimeters) indicates the curvature on the inside of the contact lens. This value is used only for contact lenses, and Not required for eyeglasses.
The diameter is: 14.2 and the diameter of a lens (measured in millimeters) is the distance from one edge of the lens to the other. This value is also used only for contact lenses, and Not required for eyeglasses.

The Solotica Hidrocor style has about 13 colors total.
They are:
Azul (blue)
Mel (honey)
Verde (green)
Marine
Ocre (hazel)
Graphite
Ice
Quartzo
Topazio
Esmeralda
Crystal
Amber
Hazelnut (avela)

My color of choice is "Ocre" (equivalent to Hazel).

The Hidrocor lenses are replaced annually. That's right...annually! This means that with good care, you can wear these contact lenses for 1 year before they need to be replaced. This is a very cost effective-brand of contact lenses.

Last but not least, the Solotica Hidrocor contact lenses are available in prescription strength, as well! The prescription corrects Myopia. I often wear these lenses with my prescription glasses, so that is an option that you have, as well (if you don't get prescription contact lenses).

In summary, I love how light weight these lenses feel while I'm wearing them. They are very comfortable and easy on the eyes. Additionally, the color is very rich and designed to look exactly like the color in human eyes! The best part of all of this is that these contact lenses only need to be replaced once a year!
